BDS embraces the concept of a fully integrated team. BDS provides a staff of qualified plans examiners, engineers and architects equipped for commercial and residential plans review as well as ICC Certified Building Inspectors and/or ICC Certified Combination Building Inspectors who insure compliance with the applicable codes as depicted in the approved plans.

Plans Examiners:
BDS has on staff, at all times, Registered Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Licensed Architects, and ICC Certified Plans Examiners to perform the review of all plans and construction documents. Structural Plan Reviews will be performed by licensed civil or structural engineers only. Reviews will be performed in accordance with the state-adopted building code.
Building Inspections:
BDS can provide full building inspection services for Jurisdictions. All inspections are performed by certified inspection personnel on an as needed basis to assist the Jurisdiction Building Department with inspections to enforce the state-adopted building code and any local ordinances. Our staff understands that they represent the Jurisdiction and are dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service possible while ensuring that all work is in conformance with the requirements of the Jurisdiction and applicable codes.
Permit Technicians:
BDS can provide qualified professionals to perform Permit Processing and Counter Services. Permit Processing and Counter Services will be performed under the direction of Jurisdiction staff.
Interim Building Official:
BDS has experienced personnel available to fill in as Interim Building Official either on a long-term or temporary basis.
All potential staff is subject to interview and acceptance by Jurisdiction prior to performing services.
