Our staff of professionals is committed to performance. All structural plan reviews are performed by experienced, licensed engineers. All life-safety aspects of the projects are reviewed by licensed architects and certified plans examiners. A detailed plan review of the submitted documents is performed to determine compliance with state, federal, and locally adopted codes and standards. Plan review reports, customized for each project, provide a list of all deficiencies and quote the applicable code sections.

BDS provides a multi-disciplinary plan review which includes single family residences, multi-family residences, commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. The first plan review for single family residences is completed within seven (7) business days or less. Commercial projects with a valuation of 1 million dollars or below are completed within ten (10) business days or less. Review times for projects over 1 million dollars valuation are completed in fifteen (15) business days or less.* All subsequent re-check times are completed in 3-5 business days for single family residences and 5-7 business days for all others.

BDS provides online project status. Clients and authorized applicants can access this protected site via a password unique to each client. Visit our client area and enter your password. You will find your plan check status and a plan review report for each set of submitted plans. Project information is updated daily. Clients and authorized applicants can view each project and communicate with a plan review professional via e-mail. Utilizing your password, clients and/or authorized applicants may download comments from our website upon completion of the plan review.
